Canal view set up nicely for picturesque daytime vibes. Lots of options for breakfast nearby, which makes conquering the day easier.
Street noise can be a bit much on weekend nights. you might want earplugs. A bedside table would be handy, as one coffee mug on the floor feels strange. Make sure to coordinate arrival since there’s no front desk—getting in can take a little planning.

The lovely canal view from my room made my mornings special. However, the steep stairs were a challenge, especially without a readiness for them. It's worth noting that there’s no kitchen or breakfast service, so plan to explore local options for your meals.

the steep stairs were an absolute workout, clearly not designed for guests who might be a tad less fit. i was just waiting for a complimentary upgrade, especially given the noise from neighbors. really thought i could enjoy some luxury, but alas, here i am contemplating this experience. also, where was my welcome gift?

Is it really that good? my take
Located just off the tourist trail and filled with nearby cafes, this quiet haven is perfect for exploring. The room was immaculate, and Christian’s helpfulness truly enhanced our stay!
Though traffic noise was minimal, coordination for check-in required some prior planning, which felt a bit inconvenient. Steep stairs may also present a challenge for some guests.
